Signs the payload of an ExternalSigningRequest and returns the raw signature bytes (not a CMS or XML container).

Remarks

Raw signature encodings: RSA produces the raw signature for the requested PKCS#1 v1.5 or RSASSA-PSS scheme; ECDSA produces an ASN.1 DER SEQUENCE { r, s } (RFC 3279). EdDSA signing is not supported because net8.0 cannot verify its raw external output.
